Friend or Foe?

Obsession can ruin a mindset like a disease. Vanity is the chosen disorder in most cases yet the patient is oblivious to the symptoms. As an infection occurs and proceeds, blasphemy pollutes reality as a friend or foe. The attempts to feed the “want” fail when the hunger of the fixation takes over. Forbidding the abomination is not an antidote, therefore, the remedy is accepting the addiction for what it is.
Mirrors reflect physical images but do not reveal the inner truth of what lies within the viewer. Most girls are concerned with their own appearance at a very early age. Arrogance creates judgmental thoughts that may come off as shallow or snobbish. Infatuation with the opposite gender is just a phase but the attention fancies sometimes turn fatal. Curses are appeals for evil or misfortune to befall someone or something. Intentions come as evil as they seem. Furthermore, confidence is always abundant as is the outcome is sometimes already known. A curse is not only an abomination, it can also be defined as profanity or obscenity. Trickeries and persuasion can sway the decisions to be in favor of the faker yet deception lies in the eye of the believer. So, the serpent who brings the torment to the innocent must be the one under the curse because the afflictor hunts the prey to carry on the plague sometimes as easy as converting praises into words profane, delivering misfortune while contenting the “want” that is fiend for.
