Collective Blame
Updated: Jan 3, 2021

Critics are attracted to society’s social classes yet struggle to understand the complexity of the collections. To critique someone or something is to analyze or review the work, creative or not, and comment on the good or bad qualities. Now who has the ability or right to critique someone or something? -Anyone. When it becomes a topic for discussion that is when it is getting criticized. The word “criticize” typically has negative respect that not always lays on truth’s side but it is and always will be rehearsed to rebuke or praise the one in question.
The gains and profits are the rewards that the chosen party will receive when the exertion is completed. Who is granted those rewards is not always the one who performs the labor or efforts. All citizens and groups are broken into classes that brand them before they prove to deserve or disqualify the title. From upper to lower classes all have a role in society’s production that starts dramatic and sometime ends in tragedy. The lower class is also known as the working class which has no depth or thought into the name given, one is placed in this lower tier determined by occupation, education, income, and skill level. The upper class is mainly the wealthiest members of society that are more educated and reign with political power. Now the middle class is purgatory for the social ranks, no credit is given for what they accomplished yet all the blame for what they didn’t. Also when the working class completes a job or successfully attempts a trade, the credit is given to upper management.
All in all, the land will unknowingly continue to divide into social groups as if race isn’t plentiful enough. Pride is taken by some while insulting the next in being categorized in a certain group just by one’s judgment and putting a title under their name. There are different theories to help understand different classes but who are the ones that get that stamp the official title?
