Can you be born with talent?

Although art can be absorbed through an extensive amount of education and training, some people are just born "artists". Art can have multiple definitions. Above all, art is an individual creating or performing what the mind imagines. Art is a phrase that describes a diverse range of human activities such as painting, sculpting, film and photography. There are sculptures and paintings that have gone down in history from artist such as Michelangelo and Da Vinci. Music, theatre, dance, literature, and interactive media are included in a broader definition of art or the arts. Recently, society has the habit of labeling anything “art”. It seems as if the amount of skill is no longer reckoned. Artists should be valued more as well as art appreciated.
Art can be made effortlessly or naturally, it is very common for young children to be musically inclined and/or imaginative when creating art pieces such as painting, drawings, or when performing with a musical instrument. When talent is discovered at an early age it does not give them much time to practice before exposing it therefore either the child already had the talent to begin with or there is no talent needed at all. In most schools, when teaching a form of art, some children absorb the flair easier than others. Even if born as an art genius, some individuals would still have to work very hard if they want to remain skillful at their artistic ability.
Art is not a gene that can be passed down from a parent. It is not hereditary therefore it is an intelligence that anyone can have. Not all forms of art are made intentionally or purposely. Another way that art can be created, physically or naturally by accident. For example, one of the naturally made art pieces is called a fulgurite, a unique formation in sand or rock, created by lightning. Nature also influences many artists to paint or photograph scenic images. Art is not a thing, it is a way. An artist’s mind thinks differently than an ordinary individual’s does. Artist cannot be noticed by physical appearance. When a particular art media is taught to a learner; technique, tricks, and tips are basically what is instructed. Recognition depends on what is produced by the pupil with their own personal ideas. It is more difficult to teach creative thinking which is a prerequisite in creating art.
What is art? Almost everyone physically has what it takes to create art pieces in different modes, yet some are not skilled at it as much as others. Yet most hands are quite identical, five fingers and a palm, yet some hands can create masterpieces that cannot be duplicated. Art is painting. Art is music. Art is photography. Whether it be a Van Gogh oil painting or a Darrell Abbott guitar solo.Ultimately art is a thought. Although musical instruments do need a small amount of instructions, musicians have endless possibilities when recording their original songs. Originality gives an artist a reputation for their chosen style which can lead to success. It is proven that there are successful artists that discovered it early enough to share it and make a career out of it. On the other hand, some paintings are created with little to no skill and still sold for various amounts. Therefore art does not need to be made by an artist with talent. Some artists that don’t need schooling can waste their talent by not use it throughout their entire life. Art skills can be a gift of technique and production.
Graduates that receive an art degree struggle to find an occupation in the art industry. Recently, art classes have been pulled out of middle schools and high schools as a required course as it was in the past. Although, it is the one of the only subjects that exercises the brain to work creatively. Isn’t that what school is for? There are people that are intrigued or infatuated by art so they study it and become quite good at it even though they initially did not have much skill in the subject. Without art teachers in schools, it decreases the possible art careers for graduates with art degrees. Creations can be composed by numerous individuals that can either assist or inspire society. Art has turned into a skill or major that needs to be selected for admission. Training or schooling is not always needed to fulfill artful desires. For example, there are musicians that have been discovered with talent that have been offered an occupation to perform or entertain globally and receive decent wages, as well as famous painters that are known solely on their ability and success.
Art consists of quality, creation, or expression according to artistic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance. The title “artist” can seem to be misused because technically there are no requirements to meet in order to use the title. The answer to that question also lies in the creator and/or observer of a piece of art. Purchasers of art pieces decide how much they are willing to pay for the piece showing appreciation for the art. They are the only ones that should be able to judge the piece. The film industry is one of the most successful media that is still growing. Trends end and fashions change so next year some can be obsolete. Music is another media that will never die. For decades now every vehicle in market is manufactured with a stereo helps support musicians to be heard globally.
There has been discoveries of ancient drawings, designs, and monuments that have unknown artists. Therefore, art has been in the minds of creative thinkers a long time before this day. Therefore, I believe everyone is born with the ability, they just have to discover it. The art industry is not dying for the fact that anything can be “art”. Art will always be needed and naturally created whether it’s by weather or an actual individual, so it will live on and remain intriguing and essential to all that value it. So is your child an artist?
